_According to the EPA, food waste and yard trimmings constitutes 26% of the US municipal solid waste. This waste is sent to landfills where it takes up unnecessary space, when it could be composted to benefit our environment in a positive way. Burning leaves and grass is prohibited in many counties and poses a health risk for those that suffer from asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or allergies.

Ski Landscape Corporation is dedicated to improving the environment by gathering waste products and turning them into usable products which can improve soil conditions. By adding compost to soil, it makes the soil more fertile and easier to work with. It's also beneficial to plants because compost decreases the density of clay soils improving drainage and moisture absorption. This allows you to grow more plants in soils that normally would not sustain the plant growth.

Ski Landscape Corporation's organic compost is made from leaves, grass and plant material delivered from a 10 mile radius of our facility. The piles are turned, rolled, chopped and screened to remove debris and help with the breakdown process. When the product is finished, it is sold as is or combined with our pulverized topsoil to form a planting mix with many benefits.
